Cornucopia Theatre - The Tempest

Directed by Mark Duncan we created the Tempest at Glamis Adventure Playground. The set was designed so the children could participate in it's fabrication and engage in creating ideas for the props. The restricted budgets are the biggest  challenge to design and convince the audience of the characters but this is where sustainable theatre starts and it is very exciting for me. The process of collaboration with director, lighting, designer, actors and park users is extremely rewarding.

Mark set the Tempest at a time where Vikings travelled to Newfoundland. The children enjoyed creating and performing with their own painted shields and oars.
