Community arts and environmental projects

Inclusivity is fundamental to my practice.

Community Projects range from creating a nomadic garden with the excluded young people from Islington's mainstream education to murals in schools where every child identifies with their own individual work amongst the whole mural.

I created and ran sculpture workshops at the National Portrait Gallery for children and for adults with disabilities, culminating in the design and curation of Breaking the Mould - a hands on experience of portrait sculpture in collaboration with Claire Gittings and James Engel.

Dance in a Box was a sensory installation created with Architect James Engel for the Royal Festival Hall.

I worked for many years creating master artworks for The Living Paintings Trust. These sculptural representations of the collections were created with a writer's audio description for partially sighted and blind people to experience the works of art.
